What is Terrazzo?
Terrazzo is essentially a rough cut marble floor. You may recognize terrazzo from your local super market, because most use it as their flooring source. A common misconception about terrazzo is that performing a basic scrubbing, cleaning and bleaching on an old terrazzo floor will easily return it back to its original condition. This is definitely a misconception because in truth, it takes much more than these basic and traditional methods to do any favorable work to a terrazzo floor. Today, newer methods like diamond abrasives are polishing, honing and grinding stone floors better and more efficiently than ever. Diamond abrasives have since gone on to revolutionize terrazzo restoration services. Bizaillion Floors, LLC. use these diamond abrasive methods to ensure that your terrazzo floor will be brought to new levels of gloss for many years to come. One of the best features about restoring terrazzo flooring is that it costs less than many carpets and carpet installations. With this in mind, terrazzo flooring is definitely worth keeping around because of the considerable benefits it has over traditional flooring options.
Terrazzo floor restoration methods are based on the current condition of your terrazzo floor as well as your initial budget. We will closely work with you to help you decide which terrazzo floor restoration method is best for your terrazzo floor. We will provide you with a detailed explanation of each method so that you know exactly what each one entails. Restoring terrazzo entails numerous methods including terrazzo cleaning, terrazzo polishing, terrazzo refinishing and sometimes new terrazzo installation.
Residential Terrazzo Floor Restoration Services
You might recognize terrazzo if you pull up an old carpet, because it is a popular flooring option to lay carpet on top of. When carpet is stripped from the floor of a home, the terrazzo underneath is often discolored and stained. This is where our residential terrazzo restoration expertise comes in handy. We can remove those unwanted stains and turn your terrazzo floor back to its original color. We will help you protect your terrazzo floor investment so that it will provide your home with lasting beauty.
