Refresh Your Marble Floor Polish

At Bizaillion Floors, LLC., one of our top requests is for marble floor cleaning. We get calls daily with people asking to “clean” their marble floor. Many times the floor does not need cleaned, it needs to be refinished and restored to its original beauty and shine.

Marble is one of the softer flooring stones. It can become dull and scratched with normal foot traffic causing the floor to loose it luster and shine. Many homeowners and business owners confuse this with their marble floor being “dirty.” We are able to restore the marble flooring to the shine it had when originally insalled.

What Cause Your Marble Floor to Shine

Above, we see the difference between how a scratched marble floor reflects light compared to that of a fully restored marble floor. The dispersion of the light on a scratched floor causes the floor to look dull, as the direct reflection of the light on a refinished marble floor provides a nice luster to be displayed.

Our Marble Floor Restoration Process

Deep shine on a marble floor is achieved by rubbing the marble flooring with abrasives. This marble restoration process is similar to using sandpaper on a piece of wood. The marble flooring is rubbed with abrasive grits, followed by finer and finer grits to obtain a smooth surface on the marble flooring. The decreasing abrasion intensity is decreased until any remaining scratches are not visible with the naked eye. The result is an extremely smooth surface that refinishes the shine and luster of your marble flooring.
